The new GLA
Based on the Mercedes front-wheel-architecture Mercedes-Benz is now delivering the all-new 2021 GLA. It is the second generation.
The GLA is the sportier brother of the GLB.
There are a lot of comfort and safety options like Multibeam intelligent light, Distronic Plus (adaptive cruise control), massage seats in the front row and an electric trunk door available.
The GLA is available with 4matic all-wheel-drive and the intelligent telematic system MBUX.
In the second half of 2020 Mercedes is also offering a new Plug-in-Hybrid version of the GLA. It is combined with a 160 hp 4-cylinder engine and a 102 hp electric motor. The system output is 218 hp and 450 NM of torque. The electric range in NEDC is nearly 70 km.
AMG has presented the GLA 35 AMG 4matic with 306 hp. Topspeed is limited to 250 kph. The fastest GLA version is the GLA 45 S AMG 4matic+ with 422 hp (which is delivered from one of the most powerful 4-cylinder engine of the world). The topspeed of the GLA 45 S AMG is limited to 270 kph. The sprint to 100 kph is done just after 4.2s.
