Mercedes EQS delivery is starting in August 2021

Mercedes has presented the electric version of the S-Class.

The 5.21m long dedicated electric vehicle has a 107.8 kWh battery. The EQS 450+ has an electric range of 770 km (WLTP). Actually, this is the benchmark.

The EQS 450+ has rear-wheel-drive. The electric motor delivers 333 hp and 568 NM of torque. The sprint from 0 to 100 kph is done in 6.2s

The EQS 580 4matic+ gets 524 hp and 855 NM of torque. The sprint to 100 kph is done just after 4.3s.

Both EQS version are limited to 210 kph.

Later there also will be two AMG version. One entry-performance model and one high-end-version with 761 hp.

At AC you can charge with 11 KW (optional 22 KW). With DC CCS you can charge from 10 to 80 % State-of-Charge in 31 min. The peak is 200 KW.

Optional the Mercedes EQS offers the MBUX Hyperscreen which has a width of 1.41m  (from a-pillar to a-pillar)

The order start of the EQS (V297) is expected on the 15th July 2021. Deliveries will start at the end of August 2021.

The EQS is produced on the same assembly line in Sindelfingen at the Factory 56 with the all-new S-Class (W223) and the S-Class Maybach.

The EQS is the fourth electric vehicle after the EQC, EQV and EQA. At the end of 2021 the EQB (based on the GLB) is starting.
