The AMG S-Class delivers 802 hp

Mercedes-AMG now has presented the all new AMG top model of the S-Class. For the first time the AMG S-Class flagship is combining a 4.0 liters V8 BiTurbo and a 190 hp electric motor at the rear axle.

This special P3 Plug-in-Hybrid layout allows a maximum of torque.

The system output is 802 hp and 1.430 NM of torque. The sprint from 0 to 100 kph is done in just 3.3 seconds. The topspeed is limited to 290 kph.

 

The AMG developed battery has 13,1 kwh. The electric range is about 33 km. About the focus of AMG Hybrid drivetrain is the maximum power output.  

 

The AMG Hybrid drivetrain is only available with the long wheelbase of the S-Class (V223).
